I've been hearing the Alienware 15 r3's get mobo failures often luckily not as often as the skylake model but still makes me nervous. But im really doubtful of it's life expectancy even with the care and maintenance. So I want to protect my investment I guess.
One core was hitting 85-88° degrees and above while the rest were hitting about 76°-78° degrees, its in like new condition I bought it used the original warranty ended in August 2018, and if I want to buy a similar spec machine it would probably cost me around 1700 euro here used. I repasted it because the owner did bad repaste job.
